Glasshouses and protected crops
Indoors, where the weather never helps
Pollination assist through flowering, canopy health by row, and irrigation uniformity across a house with no rain to mask it.
Houses of 0.2 to 10 hectares under glass or plastic.

What actually goes wrong
A glasshouse removes the weather and with it the pollinators, the natural water and the margin for error. Hired hives are expensive and cannot be timed to a specific week. Irrigation problems compound within days because nothing else waters the crop. And because the crop is uniform by design, a problem that starts in one row is easy to miss until it is in twenty.
How we set it up
Small indoor aircraft on a fixed path per house. Pollination assist runs through the flowering window on the days natural activity would be poor. Canopy health is read row by row so an early divergence is visible while it is still one row. Irrigation uniformity is checked on a schedule rather than after a problem appears.
The flight calendar across a season
-
Row by row establishment record for the house.
-
Daily pollination assist and fruit set counts against reference rows.
-
Canopy health by row and irrigation uniformity checks.
-
Counting flights for the picking and packing forecast.
-
End of cycle health census and a plan for the next planting.
Capabilities in play, in order of how much they carry
-
Pollination support
Cover the gap when the bees cannot
Small drones assist pollination indoors and in blocks where natural pollinator activity is short.
-
Irrigation analysis
Find the dry corner and the buried leak
Thermal imaging exposes dry patches, leaks and uneven coverage so water goes where it is actually needed.
-
Early disease detection
See the infection before the eye can
Multispectral imaging picks up stress, fungal infection and nutrient shortfall days before symptoms are visible from the cab.
-
Yield forecasting
Count what is actually out there
Drones count plants, fruit or ears and turn the counts into a yield estimate for each part of the field.
-
Field decision assistant
A recommendation, not another image folder
The assistant reads every layer for a field and answers in plain language: what is wrong, where, and by when.
What you end up with
Recorded on your fields, flight by flight. Not a projection.
- Pollination covered on the days natural activity would not be
- Fruit set counted against untreated reference rows
- Row level divergence caught while it is still one row
- Picking and packing planned against counted fruit
